How to Apply

Submit an entry of less than 2 minutes video in any of the categories.

Deadline for submission is 10th of February. 

Lots of prizes awaiting the best in each category, so hurry it might just be you.

 African Women in the Media (AWiM)

AWiM is looking to commission a journalist to write an article on the influence African women have on visual culture. 

The journalist will have the freedom to decide on the themes the article will focus on to illustrate the influence of African women on media and visual representation. AWiM will also provide the relevant support (contacts, research etc) should it be required.

AWiM News pays freelance journalists competitive fees for their articles. 

Preference will be given to pitches submitted by women.

Please consider pitching a second article in the event that we select a different writer for the archiving article.
